Celebs react to Casey Anthony verdict on Twitter

The world stopped briefly around 2:15pm EST as the verdict was read in the Casey Anthony trial, which acquitted her of all murder charges. Celebs took to Twitter right away to show their disapproval.
Tichina Arnold: Watching the Kasey Anthony verdict. "Not Guilty". OK...so who IS? There is still a dead little girl.
Terry McMillan: Bye bye. I would like to slap Casey hard enough to knock off her ponytail.
Star Jones (she also has a law degree, remember?): While #CaseyAnthony lives 'Bella Vita'...her "beautiful life"...a dead baby lies in the ground with no one to be held responsible....I believe in the jury system & accept verdict...but I can't take smiles from #CaseyAnthony right now. She may be NG...but her baby is dead!
Vivica A. Fox: Fuck them all! 2 b proud that u got a killer off! Burn in hell!  Not tweeting anymore 2day! Disgusted by our legal system 2day!! A baby killer got off 2day!! I'm just done!! Now her legal team holds a press conference! Like they won a championship!!
Tasha Smith: Casey got off, Not Guilty!! Wow, is any one else shocked about this????
Bow Wow: Watching casey anthony walk out the courthouse...
JaMaal Buster: I would like to know what she is celebrating...let's not forget your child is dead, and you don't know who killed her...so you say...SMH!!
Marlon Wayans: Ok white people, we got OJ yall got casey anthony... We even? Wait not til she's convicted 4 robbery 4 tryin to retrieve caylee baby clothes
Daniel "Boobie" Gibson: I have no issue with the not Guilty verdict. Evidence couldn't prove it.. but a 3 yr old child is dead & something did happen...Now it's time if they feel she didn't do it. They find out what actually happened. #JustMyThoughts What y'all think?
Melyssa Ford, retweed by Ghostface Killah: I pray, when this heartless woman attempts to profit from her child's murder, NO ONE supports the book/movie/Lifetime Story...
Royce Reed: She's a pathological liar yes & found guilty of that BUT there were holes I guess... Her parents were emotionless. I'm done.

Gabrielle Union: SO much 2 say, but nada appropriate
Darren Sharper: It's amazing to me that her actions after the baby was found dead aren't weighed in on decision. How can plaxico get almost 2yrs. Now this!
La La Anthony: Speechless. Stunned
Malika Haqq: If Casey didn't kill her baby girl she is guilty of not protecting her PERIOD #Godhelpher
Alesha Renee: I believe n karma Caylee will make sure justice is served 4 her murder. just thought. Like Nicole and Ron did for theirs. 1 way or another
Mia X: Well the baby is @ Peace I hope her death wasn't painful n full of suffering Jose Baez is the new Go2 guy

The end of the Breakfast Club is near

The Breakfast Club has been on air for 9 years this month, and is going strong with ratings, engagement, and seems to be adding new markets every month...but I think the end is near.
I sound crazy right? I know you're thinking, Tammy how and why would you think that a successful morning show would have it's future in the balance? Well, there are a couple of reasons, let's go through them. I mean this could all be in my head and I’m projecting, or I could have some legitimate points and the near future will tell.
Shock jock radio value going down- The Breakfast Club has been known for it's shock jock style of radio for years. Charlemagne says the most outlandish things in interviews, creates false narratives that he doesn't even agree with for hot takes, and Envy always goes against the grain and disagrees with the masses on any given topic, just to disagree. Podcasting is huge right now, put five people in a room and at least three of them have a podcast; just at the…

15 Black women that need to host SNL

Saturday Night Live has been around for 45 years this fall and has had a series of hosts, of all ethnicities, ages, and entertainment occupations. They've had hosts that are comedians, actors, singers, rappers, and more. Now, while the diversity has been decent...I would love to see more black women as hosts. I've compiled a list of black women I think would do a damn good job at hosting the late night show. Let's get started shall we...
Tracee Ellis Ross - Tracee is a no brainer and should be at the top of everyone's list when thinking of who should host when they are doing the planning over at NBC. Tracee has perfect comedic timing, which we've seen time and time again on Girlfriends, and now on Black-ish we’ve seen her transform into Rainbow Johnson, and also into the other smaller roles they play when they have episodes within their episodes, if that makes sense. Her personality is playful and fun, which is evident through her Instagram. So, she’s topping this l…

Grown-ish is a far cry from A Different World

When it was announced that Black-ish, the hit ABC sitcom about an affluent African American family doing their best to immerse their kids in the their ethnic culture while still enjoying the fruits of their labor, would be getting a spinoff following the oldest daughter, Zoe Johnson, as she headed to college people were somewhat excited. When it was pegged to be an updated and more current version of the hit series A Different World people were more than excited and the show was highly anticipated. We were expecting to see Zoe navigate life as a college freshmen, out of the sheltered and, low key white bread, lifestyle. We were anticipating seeing her explore more of her life after highschool, then it aired…

Now, don’t get me wrong, I like Grown-ish, I think it’s entertaining, but it’s a far cry from A Different World. I didn’t expect the show that be identical to A Different World, mainly since Zoe wasn’t attending an HBCU, so there’s that, but I think the show is missing the mark on …
