So its official Beyonce is no longer represented by her father Matthew Knowles. Matthew issued the following statement. I wonder who she will sign with next?! "The decision for Beyoncé and Music World Entertainment to part was mutual. We did great things together, and I know that she will continue to conquer new territories in music and entertainment. Currently, I am very focused on the tremendous investment that our record label has made in the gospel/inspirational genre of music and on our supremely talented roster of artists, including Trin-i-tee 5:7, Brian Courtney Wilson, Juanita Bynum, Micah Stampley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Pastor Rudy and others. Music World will continue its partnership with Sony with Destiny’s Child and UK female group From Above, as well as management. We will also continue to develop the Music World family of labels: Music World Country/Compadre, Music World Kids and Music World Music. In Music World’s repositioning it will not continue its label/ma

So apparently back in 1991 when Whoopi Goldberg accepted her Oscar she was high! SMH, Whoopi was apparently so nervous that she smoked weed before the awards in hopes it would calm her nerves just in case she did win the award. So when she did go to accept her award she seemed just overly happy and excited that any other Oscar winner was. LoL Below is a quote from Whoopi about that night. "I learned a great lesson though. Never smoke pot before there’s the possibility of having to talk to one hundred million people. Smoking cigarettes and pot every now and then are one thing that relaxes me and I thought, ‘I’ve got to relax. So I smoked this joint that was the last of my home grown and honey, when he said my name and I popped up, I was like, ‘Oh f**k, oh f**k, up the stairs one two three four five, onto the podium. There’s millions of people, OK grab the statue. I knew I should have never had done it.” Check out the video (via BMS)
The HTC EVO 3D smartphone a big brother to the EVO 4g. It’s the first EVO to utilize glasses-free 3D tech. In most ways, the EVO 3D resembles the original EVO handset: Note the 4.3-inch display, the 4G connectivity, the Android operating system –this model gets the Android Gingerbread OS –an Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor, and the dual cameras. The difference here is that one of the two cameras on the EVO 3D can be set to record 3D video. A toggle switch on the right side of the phone allows users to flick between 2D –at 1080-pixels –and 3D –at 720-pixels –recording options. (via BMS) Published with Blogger-droid v1.6.7

The carrier's been saying for a couple months now that it'd be relaunching Sidekick on Android, but they're making the device very official today with the unveiling of the Samsung-sourced Sidekick 4G. Though it lacks a swiveling display, T-Mobile is quick to note that the phone's got a "pop-tilt" mechanism that should still be pretty unique in the market -- and this is the first Sidekick with a touchscreen (3.5 inch WVGA, to be exact). The Android 2.2-based unit has a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 3 megapixel primary cam, and a pretty fierce-looking user interface (dare we say a tad Kin-like?) that comes loaded with a couple Samsung staples -- Samsung Media Hub, notably -- along with Qik video calling, DriveSmart texting-while-driving lockout functionality, and Sidekick Group Text and Cloud Text. (via Engadget)
It has two 3.5-inch WVGA displays, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with 720p video recording, Wi-Fi with hotspot capabilities, Bluetooth 2.1, 1GB on-board storage, microSD card slot (support for 32GB cards), and Android 2.2. The phone will cost $199.99 with a new 2 year contract.

Brief intro of yourself -Whattup? My name is Collin Gibson; born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; lover of all things art, especially music. How long have you been rapping? -I always messed around with putting words together, even as a child. I didn't start taking rapping seriously until my sophomore year of high school. This dude was sitting at the lunch table rapping and I was like "Thats was weak" or something like that. He said I couldn't do better, so that night I went home and wrote some bars. When I came back and spit em, everybody was like "OOOOH! Collin can SPIT!" When did you realize you loved performing? I have known that I loved being on stage since I was a child. I started out as a kid with musicals. I believe my first one was Snow White. I was Happy Dwarf. After that I did a few more musicals, then moved on to singing in talent shows, then rapping. I've always felt comfortable on stage.
