As part of their Spring launch, Nike presents the Sweet Classic SL. Coming in two simple colorways, both sneakers are wrapped in white leather uppers, with perforated leather tongues. Color accents are set in black and red or respectively green. The sneakers are now available at Kasina .
The latest Year of the Tiger themed product to be unveiled is the preceding Blazer Low from Nike. Featured in sapphire blue with a white Swoosh and ample white tiger print details, this one sure is a head turner. Not sure if it’s head turning in quite the right way though.
Rugby Ralph Lauren hits us off with few looks from their upcoming collection for the future season. Combining creams and navy’s with bold accenst of red this collection is sure to make you do a double take. Inspired by vintage sports the line consists of English cricket jackets, varsity striped sweaters, and a bevy of fleeces.
Three more Gucci boat shoes have released from their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. Continuing with the vulcanized sole treatment, the shoes come in two variations. The first is the same style we say before in a nice tan suede, while the second takes on a more traditional nautical style in red or navy leather. Nice clean branding, with not much more than the red/green color story on the foxing stripe.
Drawing inspiration from the rise of Black enterprise, economic empowerment and the Harlem Renaissance, the shoes are featured in black, red and green with the quote “The definition of a renaissance individual: one who possesses a multitude of skills, talent and a broad base of knowledge.” embossed over the upper. Proceeds from the sale of these shoes will be donated to Cheyney University, the oldest Black institution in the United States. Scheduled for a February 18th release at top tier Nike doors.
