Star Jones wants you to boycott Basketball Wives

Star Jones is just one of the many people appalled at the behavior of the women on Basketball Wives this season. It seems as if every episode has had a physical altercation almost. Well most people displeased with the show this season simply tweet their frustration of stop watching the show, Star Jones is using her celebrity to stage a full out boycott of the show. Star vented on Twitter about the show after last weeks episode in which Evelyn Lozada jumped on and over a table in an attempt to attack Jennifer Williams.

Star Jones tweeted

“It may be ‘comfortable’ to be quiet when women of color slap the crap out of each other & run across tables barefoot, but #ENOUGHisENOUGH. She further went on to say that: And the thought that the woman from #BBW who was smacked doesn’t have the RIGHT to file assault charges is LUDICROUS! You NEVER give up your right not to have your ‘person’ intentionally assaulted unless you are participating in an agreed physical activity, I’m asking all my high profile, platform having conscientious sisters who STAND FOR SOMETHING to just say #ENOUGHisENOUGH & call folk out! Be mad. But think about what I said. WE ARE BETTER than that. You’re either part of the problem or part of the solution.”

Correct me if Im wrong but Star Jones wasnt on her best behavior when she appeared on Celebrity Apprentice....but I do commend for taking a stand.

The end of the Breakfast Club is near

The Breakfast Club has been on air for 9 years this month, and is going strong with ratings, engagement, and seems to be adding new markets every month...but I think the end is near. I sound crazy right? I know you're thinking, Tammy how and why would you think that a successful morning show would have it's future in the balance? Well, there are a couple of reasons, let's go through them. I mean this could all be in my head and I’m projecting, or I could have some legitimate points and the near future will tell. Shock jock radio value going down - The Breakfast Club has been known for it's shock jock style of radio for years. Charlemagne says the most outlandish things in interviews, creates false narratives that he doesn't even agree with for hot takes, and Envy always goes against the grain and disagrees with the masses on any given topic, just to disagree. Podcasting is huge right now, put five people in a room and at least three of them have a podca

15 Black women that need to host SNL

Saturday Night Live has been around for 45 years this fall and has had a series of hosts, of all ethnicities, ages, and entertainment occupations. They've had hosts that are comedians, actors, singers, rappers, and more. Now, while the diversity has been decent...I would love to see more black women as hosts. I've compiled a list of black women I think would do a damn good job at hosting the late night show. Let's get started shall we... Tracee Ellis Ross  - Tracee is a no brainer and should be at the top of everyone's list when thinking of who should host when they are doing the planning over at NBC. Tracee has perfect comedic timing, which we've seen time and time again on Girlfriends, and now on Black-ish we’ve seen her transform into Rainbow Johnson, and also into the other smaller roles they play when they have episodes within their episodes, if that makes sense. Her personality is playful and fun, which is evident through her Instagram. So, she’s

I’m back!!

After 7 long years I’m back to blogging, thankfully I was able to recover my all of my posts from when I was tammytalks.com; which I’m shocked I was able to even do. So here we are at at phase II of TammyTalks, I'll be taking a different approach this time, less objective entertainment news and gossip and more of my thoughts and opinions on various topics. I want to change the narrative of my blog and move away from so much entertainment news. I’m not interested in being PC this time around, while I’m not looking to be harsh I do want to give my raw, uncut opinion. So what have I been doing the past 7 years that TammyTalks wasn’t around? Well, writing...I’m always writing something, I’m always being creative in some way. I have several ideas for books, and have been working on outlines and tightening up synopses and storylines. So I’m excited about that, an anxious about how that will pan out for 2020. I have two podcasts as well; one with one of my best friends, Real Tv
