Lil Wayne seems to be following in Jay and Ye's footsteps, he recently announced that his upcoming album, Carter IV, will be digitally released at midnight on iTunes and Amazon at midnight August 28, 2011. The physical copies will be released the next day August 29, 2011 at all major retailers. Will the early digital release help Wayne's sales?
